2019 New Year Beard Goals

Now is the time. I usually don't like doing what "every body else is doing," but in this case, I think its valuable. The gym will be packed until March. The diet game will be in full 100 mode. Parental goals, family goals, relationship goals, Each of these goals will line the pages of journals or post it notes as the New Year approaches. I say we make some beard goals for 2019. Ready?

1. Be Patient. I would suggest that we start our beard goal move with this aggravating word. Epic beards (regardless of size) are not grown in a day. Why not make 2019 the year of beard patience. Give that beard some time to look as awesome as it can and as awesome as you want it to be.

2. Get Lined Up. I love a fresh beard trim. I try to stay on a 3 week schedule with my Barber. I love the feel of the strait razor on my cheek line. I cant stop looking in the mirror after I get a fresh line up. Why not make 2019 the year of the fresh line up. Make it a real scheduled event to go to the barber even if its just to get your beard trimmed.

3. Get PRODUCT-ive. I am a beard product creator. I have used product in my beard for about 12 years. Even before "product" was really available (on a popular scale), I used it. I have found that good beard product nourishes my face, softens my beard, aids in styling and taming...and so many more valuable benefits. Why not make 2019 a year of "getting PRODUCT-ive.

4. Eat Cleaner. Seriously. I have written about this extensively here https://www.themc.info/blog/innie-or-outtie-it-matters-to-a-healthy-beard. So, I'm not going in too deep here. But, remember this: eating clean helps to grow an Epic Beard. Why not make 2019 a year of eating cleaner. It will help in a few ways:)

5. Don't Cut It. I know. I just said to make getting your beard trimmed a habit. I am NOT talking about trimming. I am specifically talking about making rash decisions to cut your beard off. Honestly, if we made getting our beard trimmed on a regular basis we probably wouldn't get so erratic and just chop it off when it gets awkward. I always say, "When in doubt, grow it out! Why not make 2019 a year of letting it grow.

New Years resolutions can be so stressful. So, I think 5 is a great starting, ending, and jumping off point. My real goal is, as always, to breed confidence and awesome beard growth. Take the 5 goals and pick 1, 2, 3, or all 5. Or, bounce on all the above mentioned goals and create your own. But, make some beard goals and watch EPIC rise.

Hit me up with some of your 2019 Beard Goals.

Beard Up,

Stephen.
