Innie or Outtie? It Matters for a Healthy Beard.

Stephen has lost his mind!!!!!

Are you an Innie or an Outtie? Before you think I am just being weird, let me say, If you want a healthy beard you need to be both! Let me explain.

I am a beard snob. So, what I put ON my beard will only be the best. I am a Beard product producer and advocate. I completely believe in and utilize GREAT beard products. Before I was making my own beard products I would scavenge the world wide web for the BEST products on the market. I would pay whatever price was necessary to get me some GREAT products for my bodacious beard. Beard products aren't just important to maintain an awesome beard presence--THEY ARE IMPERATIVE!

Having said that, What you put ON your beard is only half the battle. Seriously, if you want the

healthiest beard on the block, you need to pay as much attention to what you are putting IN your body as to what you are putting ON your beard! You need to be an INNIE and an OUTTIE focused beard owner.

My ULTIMATE GUIDE to BEARD AWESOMENESS:

  1. Stay Hydrated--The average Male adult is about 60% water. So, naturally being dehydrated is a no no if you are trying to grow a healthy beard. I try to drink around 1/2 of my body weight in ounces every day. So, if you weigh in at 200 pounds, you should try to drink about 100 ounces of water per day. Be Warned!!! If you have not drank this amount of water before--YOU will be peeing a lot. Don't worry though. Your body will adjust and your beard will experience the benefit of a properly hydrated body.*

  2. Eat Good Food--Most men LOVE to eat but our schedules are so crazy at times that we find ourselves putting mostly garbage into our system. That old adage, "Garbage in, Garbage out," applies to our beard too. Im not saying to cut out all of the Number 3's or the supersize options. I am simply saying that if you want a healthy beard--You need to eat the right foods. So, What are some great foods for healthy beards?

  • Vitamin A::: Carrots and Sweet Potatoes: Good for Beard shine and Beard growth!

  • Omega-3 Fatty Acids::: Salmon and Almonds: Good for fighting hair loss and adds Beard strength.

  • Vitamin C::: Citrus and Sweet Peppers: Good for Shiny, Clean, and Strong Beards

  • Iron::: Red Meet and Spinach: Good for Thicker and fuller beards.

  • Protein ::: Beans and Eggs: Prevents Beard Breakage and helps to grow strong Beards

  • Zinc ::: Oysters and Pumpkin Seeds: Good for Hair Growth and Repair.

  • Vitamin E ::: Broccoli and Avocado: Good for moisturizing and Repairing.*

3. Buy Great Product-- spend the money on PURE product. Don't go putting products with 16 ingredients in your beard. Stay as close to organic as possible. Cold Pressed oils, Raw organic butters. Sure, it may be a little more expensive but your beard will thank you. Here at the ManCave we are committed to providing the BEST products at the BEST price.*

4. Grow it out and Give it time-- Seriously, just grow a beard and give it time to grow into beardly perfection. If you are trying to grow your first beard, just give it time. Don't shave it just because it looks a little weird. Endure the weird, itchy, uncomfortable, and awkward beard stages. (GREAT PRODUCT CAN HELP WITH ITCH !!!)

This Dude Eats Good Food!

If you will notice, my ultimate guide to BEARD AWESOMENESS really focuses on both the INNIE and OUTTIE issues of beard growth. Why? Because, no matter how much GREAT product you put on the OUTSIDE, you also need to focus on whats going INSIDE as well.

SO, BEARD PRINCIPAL #1--For a healthy beard, you need to be an INNIE and an OUTTIE

Sincerely,
